Auriga Bay II is a luxurious
17.0 metre (56') steel hull vessel with 5 air conditioned
guest cabins that all have double beds and a bunk, fully
appointed galley, aft deck BBQ area, roof top relaxtion area, air conditioned saloon,
hot water showers and flushing toilets. Our modern entertainment facilities can interact with the latest technology which is great for listening to your favourite music, watching the latest video (your's or somebody else's) or viewing a computer presentation.
Auriga Bay II cruises at
about 8 knots allowing you to enjoy the coastline views
and relax while visiting the unspoiled waterways of the Top End. At anchor Auriga Bay
II is very stable and provides a remarkably serine ambience
to relax and reflect on the day's enjoyment and the surrounding
beauty of the Top End's remote, pristine environment.
Auriga Bay II was one of the first 'live aboards' cruising the waters of the Northern Great Barrier Reef. Built in the late seventies, she shares her name with one of the most remote and beautiful dive sites on the far Northern Great Barrier Reef, Auriga Bay on Southern Small Detached Reef.
Auriga Bay II was relocated to Gove, Northern Territory in 2004 and rapidly attained acceptance as the premier vessel for extended cruising and fishing charters in the region. Her unique design was ahead of its time and makes her more than comfortable for a range of charter options and safe in all conditions.
